But seriously, I think that dirt is dryer than soil, so therefore dirt is more fertile for plantinng and growing things.

I think that dirt is dryer than soil so that means that soil is more fertile than dirt and you can grow more and better plants in soil.

Soil seems to be not as coarse and it seems tilled, and dirt is just what you find under the grass and just about everywhere and it is rough and natural.

Dirt is dark sand a little deeper in the ground than regular sand. Soil is fertile dirt that people use to grow things in. So, soil is fertile dirt and dirt is dark sand deeper under the ground more than sand.

Dirt is small grains of sediments that may have piled there, it may have been dumped there by an excavation company to level it off to build a house, soil is dirt that is fertile[able to grow plants and vegetables in,] people by this, and in most cases cost more, this is used to decorate [by making flower gardens.]

dirt is drier than soil and i think that soil is more fertile than dirt because it is more moist, and soil is a darker color because of the wetness

The difference? well the difference is that you can use soil for planting but you cant use dirt(well you shouldnt).

dirt is dead things that were on top of the ground and composed and went in to the ground so dirt is the reamins of dead anmails dirt is more drier then soil . soil is the reamins of plants usally and the poo of anmails soil is more moist then dity. the difference is the dirt is the reamins of dead anmails and and soil is the reamins of the food in the anmails system.

Dirt is dryer and dirtier than soil. Soil is fertile and mor soft than dirt.
Dirt-earth or soil. When loose.
Soil- the ground as producing vegetation or as cultivated for its crops: fertile soil.

I have never personally heard or heard about the song untill now, but I belive that the dirt didnt nessisarily “make my lunch” I think that it helped make it. The seed or plant was what strated growing the food, and the soil produced it with water and minerals to help it grow.

Dirt is crushed rocks and it is very dry and soil is wet and is used for growing plants.

Im sorry, I am not familiar with the song or its lyrics, but dirt (in a round bout way did make our lunch.) Last year in science we learnred about energy and energy comes from food, and all energy sources come from solar energy. Solar energy grows plants which we eat. The meat we get eats plants, or other animals that have eaten plants, which plants have to grow in the ground, aka dirt.
Dirt and soil are the same thing aren’t they? I mean if someoe says dirt, it can be defined as soil and vice-verese. In that wouldn’t dirt be the same thing so there would not be a difference.

Dirt is made of little pieces of crushed rocks. If you were to dig up dirt you would find a lot of dust. Soil is more moist, and smooth. If you were to dig up soil it would have dust, or at least not as much dust because it is more moist. Soil is used for planting, and dirt isn’t. Or at least soil is a lot better to use for planting.

I dont think there is a difference i mean they both taste the same, but soil is used more for planting, and dirt is used for, ummm i dont really know i guess for leveling land and making a foundation but oh well peace out fools!!!!!

Soil is more moist than dirt. Soil is also more fertile than dirt and better for planting.

Dirt has like little pebbles in it. Soil is more fertile and wet. Soil is a darker brown then dirt too.

Soils have more “nuetrients” in it than dirt has
dirt is really really hard cause you can see the little pebbles of rock
but soil is made with water and dead animal from when it dies and dissolves!

The diffrence between dirt and soil is that dirt has more rocks then soil does and soil is more thicker than dirt and that you can plant plants better in it than you can plant in dirt.

The difference is that you need to use soil to grow plants. You can not use dirt for growing plants because it is dry. The soil is wet and the plants needs water and the soil helps the plant grows.

The difference is that your can use soil for planting things and dirt you can not, or else it will not grow as well as it should. Dirt is darker colored and more into the ground then soil is so it wont work as well.

Soil is more fertile than and moist then dirt. Dirt is loose and dry and is hard to be planted in.
