We have received some recent donations! Thanks to all who helped us out.
I am putting in a special request for books! We have had students donate books recently, including a book on sharks, a Gary Paulson book, and a couple of others. When we receive these, we put a special bookplate in the book recognizing the generosity of the donor.
If you would like to help our classroom library grow, your child can help you choose books. Here are a couple of titles I know we would enjoy.

- Locomotion by Jaqueline Woodson
- After Dupac & D Foster by Jaqueline Woodson
- Saavy by Ingrid Law
- Any of Matt Christopher’s books on sports stars (”On the Field with . . .”. “At the Plate with . . .”, “Ledgends of Sports”, etc.)
- Baseball’s Biggest Bloopers: The Games that Got Away by Dan Gutman
- The Underneath by Kathi Appelt
- The Wizard by Jack Perlutski
- The Higher Power of Lucky by Susan Patron
There are still a few things we will need before the year is out.
- Colored markers
- Poster paper
- Two-pocket folders (w/ fastners)

- Scanner (something small and portable)
- Heavy-duty 3-hole punch
